Mood boards
När designers ska inspireras till en ny kollektion är det vanligt att de gör så kallade mood boards där de sätter upp tidningsklipp, fotografier, mönster och saker som tillsammans illustrerar känslan som de vill att kollektionen ska förmedla. Oftast är mood boardsen baserade på ett tema som sen blir inspirationsbasen för skapandet. Jag hittade lite roliga bilder som publicerats i New York Times 2004 där de besökt olika designers studios för att fotografera deras moodboards. Bara mood boardsen i sig är ju så fina så att man skulle kunna ha dem hemma på väggen.

Ett mycket bra sätt att jobba på. Jag driver egen klädbutik så när jag beställer in kollektionerna för säsongen så försöker jag sätta ihop liknande för att få en överblick över allt.
