Jag har under en längre period haft för avsikt att beställa hem boken "Stylist - the interpreters of Fashion", en stor tegelsten där världens främsta stylister och deras verk samlats. Till min lycka behövde jag aldrig klicka hem den själv utan jag blev minst sagt glatt överraskad när jag fick den i present av min livskamrat. Ett par av mina absoluta favoritstylister fanns naturligtvis med i boken. Grace Coddington och Carine Roitfeld.

Det jag älskar med Grace Coddington är hennes förmåga att skapa karaktärer och en story, man blir fascinerad och vill veta mer om personerna på bilden. Jag har tidigare skrivit om "Alice i underlandet-serien" som är en av mina favoritserier, alla kategorier.

I boken läste jag att när Carine Roitfeld stylar så är det alltid med utgångspunkten "vill jag vara den här personen?". Jag tycker att det är ett otroligt fascinerande sätt att jobba på och i slutändan så är det ju trots allt det mycket handlar om när det kommer till mode och styling. Märkligt nog måste jag säga att hon lyckas uppnå detta till och med när hon gestaltar en blodig slaktare och en suggestiv spökbrud.
