Jag läste hos Agnes på Rodeo att den ryska popduon t.aT.U (eller hur de nu skriver) ska fronta nästa Marc by Marc Jacobs-kampanj. Japp, Juergen Teller har enligt uppgifter redan varit i Ryssland för plåtningen. För mig är det här bara ytterligare ett tecken på Marc Jacobs fall som enligt min mening har smugit sig på successivt de senaste åren. Visst, bryt mot konventionerna, gör det, men jag vet inte hur mycket ett varumärke egentligen tål. Men, precis som Agnes skriver, det är väl ett bra sätt att nå ut till den nya ofattbart stora lyxmarknaden i Ryssland.
Ja ja, det är inte utan att jag är lite nyfiken på att se resultatet, det kan jag motvilligt erkänna.

Hoppas du inte missade dokumentären om Marc Jacobs som gick på svt i helgen. Den var helt okej. Främst för att man verkligen fick följa med under tiden då en kollektion skapades...hur de rippade gamla kläder rätt av tex ;) Han verkade riktigt sympatisk faktiskt.

Jag får liksom andra känningar när jag hör sånt! Jag börjar fnissa åt hela grejen och tänker att det finns ett genidrag bakom det hela! Något i hans lek måste ju ändå vara tilldragande för stylister älskar ju att haka på hans tokerier... OM hans kläder säljer vete sjutton, jag brukar inte kolla in hans avdelning för antal ex i min storlek, priserna brukar jag inte fnissa åt..!
catta: Det är just det som är så intressant. Marc Jacobs har hamnat i en sits där han kan göra precis vad han vill och alla tycker bara att det är coolt och nytt utan eftertanke om det egentligen är bra. Lite som den klassiska 90-talsfilmen Pret-a-porter. Hela världen applåderar något som bara är galenskap och i slutet något som inte ens existerar. Filmen är ganska tramsig men har helt klart sina poänger, värd att se för den intresserade.
