Wall of Fame - Kvinnliga modeskapare
Jeanne Lanvin: Jeanne föddes 1867 och var äldst i en syskonskara på 11 barn. 16 år gammal började Jeanne arbeta som hattmakare men så småningom gick hon över till klädessömnad. Jeanne fick tillsammans med sin man, Henri-Émile-Georges di Pietro, en dotter som hon började sy underbara kläder till. De rika upptäckte snart de underbara kläderna som Jeanne sydde till sin dotter och bad henne tillverka liknande plagg till deras barn.Så småningom började hon även sy klänningar till barnens mödrar. 1909 skrevs Jeanne Lanvin in i Syndicat de la Couture och det var först då hon kunde ses som en klädskapare av rang. Snart tillverkade modehuset att från kläder och päls till underkläder men den stora succén var när de släppte den än idag legendariska parfymen Arpége.
Madeleine Vionnet: Madeleine växte upp i ett mindre bemedlat hem och fick redan vid 12-års ålder sluta i skolan för ta arbete hos en sömmerska. Vid 20-års ålder började hon arbeta för Kate O´Reilly i hennes Londonateljé. År 1900 flyttade hon tillbaka till Paris där hon fick anställning på den tidens mest omtalade modehus Callot Sœurs, Madeleine fick sedan anställning av Jacques Doucet som gav henne fria händer att skapa en kollektion. Madeleine som tyckte att kläder skulle formas efter kroppen och inte tvärtom skapade svepande draperade klänningar utan korsetter, vilket väckte uppror så Madeleine fann inget annat val än att 1912 öppna ett eget modehus. Om Madeleines privatliv vet man förvånansvärt lite och sedan hennes modehus lades ner 1933 har det varit märkvärdigt tyst om henne
Coco Chanel: En av modevärldens genom tiderna största rebell. Hon lär ha påstått att män inte har något att göra med att skapa kvinnokläder då de i grunden nedvärderade dem. Hon brann för att upplösa alla ytliga klasskillnader och revolutionerade kvinnors sätt att klä sig genom att skapa kläder som gav dem frihet men ändå elegans. Även Coco Chanel kom från enkla förhållanden och hon förstod tidigt att det enda sättet att komma ifrån missära förhållanden var hårt arbete och efter en hel del hårt arbete blev hon till slut en av Europas rikaste kvinnor. Gabrielle (Cocos riktiga namn) lärde sig att sy av nunnor när hon placerades i ett barnhem hos en klosterordern. Cocos design demokratiserade modet långt in konfektionskläder fanns att tillgå men inte genom att tumma på elegans. Chanels historia är verkligen helt otrolig och även en modenovis vet vem som skapade den idag så legendariska ”lilla svarta”
Elsa Schiaparelli: Elsa var efter Coco den mest influentiella modeskaparen under 1920-30-talet. Hon föddes i Rom, Italien 1890. Initiellt var Elsa inriktad på sportkläder.och hon designade till exempel Lily Alvarez legendariska tenniskläder. Elsa var mycket exprimentell i sin design och influerades starkt av konstnärer som Salvador Dali. Elsa var den första att använda axelvaddar, djurmönster och chockrosa. Elsas design belv med åren allt mer surrealistisk och hennes hattar som hon designade under 30-talet var verkligen banbrytande. Elsa designade kläder åt många berömda bland annat tillverkade hon Zsa Zsa Gabors kläder till filmen Moulin Rouge (1952).
Coco kommer alltid va nr 1 för mig!:) Love her! Tänk om man hade haft henne som mormor eller farmor!:)

Eftersom ni bloggar om kläder och dylikt kan det tänkas att ni rekommenderar andra bloggar inom samma ämne. Detta gör ju självklart att ni slussar läsare mellan varandra och därför får fler besökare till er egen blogg.

hotspot: Ja jag vet, men det är så tävlingsinriktad och allt för hype'ad. Jag har tänkt mig mer en plats där man inte sitter och för en massa statistik - det gör ju bara att folk endast ser dem som ligger på toppen, och alla andra mindre men minst lika bra bloggar hamnar i skymundan. Jag vill se en plats där man struntar i siffror och bara ser till det redaktionella.
Johan: Men bloggtoppen har ju både och - statistik och att man kan välja favoritbloggar och att man kan ranka andra bloggar oavsett hur många besökare de har. Det kanske blir superbra men rent spontant känner jag inget behov av fler bloggportaler (bloggtoppen, bloggportalen, knuff och nyligen täcker ganska bra in de behoven man har för att hitta nya bloggar), kanske låter hårt men du vill veta vad vi/jag trodde.
