Moderådets trendutsällning på antikmässan
Igår var jag i jobbsammanhang på Antikmässans VIP-kväll. Döm av min förvåning när jag upptäckte att Moderådet var på plats med en otroligt spektakulär trendutställning. Moderådet samarbetar nämligen med antikmässan för att visa att trend och tradition går hand i hand. Genom att blanda antikviteter och vintagekläder med morgondagens antikviteter (kontemporära ikonobjekt inom mode och design) hade moderådet skapat 3 fantastiska teman: I Maries boudoir, Till bords med Vlad Tepes och Carl möter Mr Flower Power. Man kunde även skåda en fiktiv catwalk "Vintage Fashion" med levande modeller jämte provdockor. Allt mycket vackert och smakfullt stylat.
Jag hann med en kort pratstund med moderådets VD, Lotta Ahlvar, som passionerat berättade att en av klänningarna var en unik Haute Couture-klänning från Givenchy skapad av Alexander McQueen under den korta period då han verkade som designchef på modehuset. Hon berättade även om en klänning tillverkad i Diordesign av Märtaskolan som i Sverige hade licens att skapa kläder i Diors design. Helt fantastiskt spännande.
Translation: Yesterday I visited Stockholm Antique fair where the Swedish Fashion Council was showing a spectacular trend show. Old antique furnitures and vintage fashion was mixed with contemporary "it-objects" within fashion and design (the antiques of tomorrow?). Truly interesting and beautiful!

Jag skriver mycket sällan kommentarer men håller allt koll på bloggen. Som vanligt gör du ett kanonjobb och grattis till extraknäck på Aftonbladet. Själv har jag inte orkat börja igen. Dessutom börjar min gamla blogg likna stenåldern. ;-)
Jag såg att MRS H berömt din blogg men saknar det personliga. Jag kan inte annat än erkänna att även jag är nyfiken vem du är (läs vad du gör och jobbar med). För jag kan då inte förstå hur du hinner med allt du gör. Och vad gjorde du på antikmässan?

Ja aftonbladet är verkligen kul, jag njuter i fulla drag :) Ha ha, den något anonyma approachen är ju ganska medveten då jag alltid velat att det är innehållet som ska stå i fokus på bloggen inte jag som person men har man frågor och undrar något går det såklart att fråga :) Just nu är jag inne i ett karriärbyte så vi får väl se vad som kommer att bli min heltidssysselsättning framöver men i grunden är jag utbildad i medie och kommunikationsvetenskap och det är framförallt inom PR och kommunikation jag jobbat. Ha ha, jag var på antikmässan för ett frilansjobb som jag gjorde åt ett företag som producerar diverse olika tidningar :)

Hej igen. Så roligt att höra. Jag arbetar själv med MKV och just nu som informatör. PR är otroligt roligt och jag övar mina kunskaper, just nu främst i bild. Jag hoppas du kommer kunna arbeta med något riktigt roligt! Och det behöver inte innebära helbyte även om du närmar dig modebranschen. Kombinationer är kul! Lycka till med allt.
P.S Ibland önskar jag att jag var mer i Stockholm så jag kunde vara med på alla roliga events. Hoppas Modette-festen blir kul.
