10 frågor till Wende Zomnir
För första gången någonsin presenteras ett internationellt intervjuobjekt på Hotspot. Wende Zomnir arbetar som Creative Director på ett av världens mest omtalade och rosade sminkmärken, Urban Decay. Jag är mycket stolt över att presentera hennes svar på mina 10 frågor om rådande skönhetstrender. Thank you Wende!
1. Vad blir den största make-up trenden hösten 2007? Den största trenden är ett vackert öga med kontrasterande texturer. Man blandar matta ögonskuggor med blank metallic eyeliner. Det matta är intressant då det har varit utanför strålkastarljuset ett bra tag men nu är det tillbaka i kombination med glitter och skimmer för att addera fler dimensioner och göra looken mer slående. Vi kommer att lansera en ny linje av matta ögonskuggor hösten 2007 som är helt enastående, jag lovar att alla kommer att bli förbluffade över de rika och sammetsmjuka färgerna.
2. Vad är den viktigaste make-up produkten? Mascara eller läppglans, jag ändrar mig varje dag.
3. Vad är ditt bästa stylingtips? Blå mascara. Det är smickrande, lite funky och det gör att du ser ut som om du har koll.
4. Vem är världens bästa make-up artist just nu? Det är en jämn kamp mellan Pat McGrath, min partner på Urban Decay, Eric Jomenez och Robin Shoen. Pat inspirerar alltid och är helt enkelt enastående. Eric kan få alla att se bra ut, inte bara supermodeller, det är en talang. Robins teknik är felfri, hon har fantastiska visioner och kan få en extrem make-up att se vacker och tilltalande ut så att man alltid får en bra bild.
5. Vad är det vanligaste misstaget folk gör när de ska sminka sig? Att de använder för lite eller för mycket smink. Som med allt annat ligger det vackra i att hitta en balans.
6. Vilka 3 make-up färger hör till dina favoriter? Lila, Bronze och Grönt (vilket inkluderar aquamarine)
7. Mascara, ska den vara svart eller brun? SVART!
8. Vilken kändis är överlag bäst stylad (skönhet)? Gwen Stefani eller Angelina Jolie. De har båda en distinkt look. De använder make-up och det ser alltid fantastiskt ut!
9. Vad ska man tänka på, bortsett från Make-up, för att få en perfekt look? Träna! Ordentlig rengöring varje kväll. Använd bra produkter och använd solskydd. Jag gör också en serie av Photo Facials (utan laser) vartannat år för att minska solskador på huden. Slutligen, använd Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup, det är inte ett substitut för solskydd men det ger lite extra skydd.
10. Om man har 5 minuter innan du ska iväg på fest, vad ska man satsa på? Puffa på lite Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup. Gå över de värsta fläckarna och ringarna med concealer. Addera lite rouge på kinderna. Smeta på Chopper eyeshadow på ögonlocken (glöm inte primer). Ta Bourbon 24/7 ögonpenna på 1/3 av yttre övre ögonlocket och gör sedan samma sak på nedre ögonlocket med en glittrig metallic eyeliner för lite glamour. Slutligen lite läppglans i valfri färg. Färdigt på under 5 min.
